Sunday, June 6th, is my wedding anniversary. Jen & I have been married for 23 years – the time has really gone by fast. During these past 23 years, we have both grown immensely (in our personal lives and in our love for each other).
We are not a perfect couple.
We still disagree with each other.
We both can be very opinionated.
We get irritated with each other.
We made a commitment to each other that divorce will never be an option. In the darkest times of our relationship (and we have had our share – just ask us to share the story about the cat sometime (i.e. “It’s not about the cat”), we have HOPE that better days are ahead. We will get through it. We will apply the skills we have learned through the years to work out whatever difficult, even impossible, situation we are facing.
This Sunday I am looking forward to celebrating 23 years of marriage with Jen. We have committed to having a godly marriage, and I believe that HE (God) is blessing it.
