What is Leadership Coaching?
Leadership coaching helps people achieve success in their professional and personal lives. I love working with clients who want to see their personal and professional life grow and make a difference. My goal is to help my clients define and reach their goals.
It can be easy to play it safe, personally & professionally. The problem is that “playing it safe” rarely moves you forward or helps you reach your goals. We begin by defining your circumstances and understanding your organizational structure. We will define your goals and create a plan to move you forward, professionally and personally.
FIVE BENEFITS OF LEADERSHIP COACHING

Leadership Coaching Process:
The primary objective for any client starts with a tailored coaching process that defines who you are and what you want to accomplish.
The coaching process typically lasts anywhere from six to ten months. Each coaching session will last approximately 45 min. Sessions will occur over the phone, in a virtual meeting space (like Zoom), or in person.
Before I agree to a coaching engagement with any client, I offer a free consultation session to determine if we will be a good fit.

THE COACHING PROCESS INCLUDES:
- The Kick-off Meeting
Discuss details of the coaching process, confidentiality agreement, the involvement of the sponsor (if present), overview of data gathering, and the expectations of coaching.
- Data Gathering and Feedback
Includes one or more of the following: the 360-degree survey, StrengthFinder assessment, SWOT Analysis, TPRAT assessment, and the Peer Feedback assessment.
- The Development Plan
Covers various brainstorming sessions, input, and support from sponsors.
Discussion of the development of a plan that addresses both the individual and the organization’s needs.
- Coaching of the Development Plan
- Evaluation and Closure
Terry and the client (and the sponsor) will: evaluate the coaching process, discuss the next steps, reflect on the learning, hand off a plan to the client and conclude the coaching engagement.
What are the benefits (ROI) of life coaching?
Return On Investment (ROI) – The ROI of coaching (according to Harvard Business Review, Manchester Inc, and the International Coaching Federation (ICF)) is usually 6 to 10 times the cost of the coaching engagement. The coaching engagement provides a safe environment for the client to work through intricate or delicate issues. The benefits can also be shown through an increase in productivity and happiness in the executive’s professional personal life.
As a life coach, I have had the opportunity to see the ROI for my clients firsthand. Sometimes it is in financial accomplishments or reaching audacious goals. For others, it is in repaired relationships (both professional and relational) that were sucking the life out of their productivity (and their happiness in life).
