I had the opportunity to work with an organization a few weeks ago that has not seen any growth in over 25 years. In fact, they are technically on life support having seen a regression of over 75%. Yet, when we look at the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and other vital stats within the org, we discovered a few glaring issues. Primarily, they have not evolved to meet the demands of their present reality. Simply stated, they are stagnant.
John Maxwell says this about changing and adapting to the culture around you: “If You always do what you have always done, you will always get what you have always gotten.”
Consider Change and Innovation
If you are not seeing the growth you think you should or you actually see a regression in your organization then it’s probably time for some much-needed changes. I’m not talking about Mission, vision, or core values (although they might need to be tweaked). What I am talking about is taking some measured risks and changes in your strategic plan as an organization.
