Today, I will give you the 2nd tip for sustaining your progress.
Tip #2 For Sustaining Your Goals
Take A Look At Your Current Pain Point
There is a saying in business, “No Problems, No Profits.” Problems are a part of life and if we want to reach our goals we will need to LOOK at and DIG into our problems instead of avoiding them (that’s called denial).
What is your biggest pain point that is hindering your personal growth, professional growth, or even your relational growth? Learn to lean into the pain of the problem, to understand the problem. Then GO OUT and GET the wisdom you need to solve the problem.
Dr. Henry Cloud shares in his book INTEGRITY, “that we experience what we tolerate.” What do you need to confront instead of ignoring? IT WON’T GO AWAY and your MISERY will only increase over time.
Why do we avoid these painful experiences? We might be controlled by fear, regret from past failures, hurts, loss, emotional and/or physical pain, or avoiding conflict.
