I’m always amazed at how fast things can go bad for a person when they chose to live for themselves (myself included). That’s why I want to pay special attention to today’s Bible verse:
God Gives Life
As Paul is speaking to the church at Ephesus, he shares with them a simple compare and contrast. Live for yourself and you will end up living a very confusing life. However, if you live life by God’s principles you will have life! I know and I have experienced times in life that are very dark and confusing – and the only one I really have to blame is myself (my pursuit of selfish living). Yet, when I submit to the biblical principles of God I find that my life has an order, direction, and clarity.
